ShakeTune is designed as a local audio player. We respect your privacy and aim to collect as little information as possible.
1. Audio Files
ShakeTune allows users to import audio files they choose through Apple’s system Files interface. ShakeTune does not provide, stream, sell, or download music for users.
ShakeTune does not access the user’s Apple Music library and does not require Media Library permission.
Imported audio files remain under the user’s control and are used only for local playback, playlists, equalizer functions, playback-speed control, album artwork display, and audio visualization.
2. Personal Data
ShakeTune does not require an account, registration, or login.
ShakeTune does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, precise location, photos, camera data, microphone recordings, advertising identifiers, or tracking information.
3. Tracking and Advertising
ShakeTune does not use advertising networks, tracking technologies, or App Tracking Transparency.
ShakeTune does not display third-party advertisements.
4. Analytics
The current version of ShakeTune does not use third-party analytics or behavioral tracking services.
5. Local Network and Shake Share
ShakeTune includes an optional nearby sharing feature called Shake Share.
When the user chooses to enable Shake Share, the app may request Local Network access to discover nearby ShakeTune devices and communicate directly with them.
Local Network access is used only for nearby-device discovery and direct file transfer initiated by the user.
ShakeTune does not require or use Location Services for Shake Share.
Users should only share audio files they own or are authorized to transfer.
6. File Storage
Imported audio files, playlists, settings, artwork, and related app data are stored locally on the user’s device.
ShakeTune does not upload the user’s music library to a ShakeTune server or cloud music service.
7. Third-Party Music and Content
ShakeTune does not provide a commercial music catalog or third-party music content.
Users import and manage their own audio files.
ShakeTune is intended only for files that users have the legal right or authorization to use.
8. Bundled Test Audio
ShakeTune may include a small synthesized test signal for demonstrating playback, equalizer, and visualization features.
This test signal is created specifically for ShakeTune and does not contain third-party music, samples, vocals, or commercial recordings.
9. External Services
ShakeTune does not rely on third-party authentication services, payment processors, AI services, advertising services, or external music providers for its core functionality.
10. Children’s Privacy
ShakeTune does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because ShakeTune does not require an account and does not collect personal data for its core functionality, no child profile or personal identifier is created by the app.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if ShakeTune’s functionality changes.
